Direct X  Prototype

Direct X version:  10

Game: Arbalest(prototype)

Arbalest is Directx Application created as a part of  Assesment for programming games 2 module . the application is a playable  prototype devloped from scratch using rastertek's DrectX 10 tutorial framework . Arbalest inspired from my work for PS2/linux  prototype (sky slinger).

  • application of vector , tranformation matrices and collison of bodies.

  • projectiles, terrains, lighting including post processing effects blur and  fog.

  • Random and procedural content genration .

Ps2/Linux Prototype

Engine:  Ps2 framework

Game:  Consosle prototype ( sky slinger )

The application was developed with aim of exploring the techniques to develope and critically evaluate a prototype 3D game /graphics application using the capabilities of ps2 game console in the given time period.

  • evaluation of console system architecture and perfomance with specific refenrce to 3d issues.

  • evaluation of console game techniques . implelenting in the input system and developing the 3d game                programming   technniques in the given  limited resource for console .

  • design and creation of console game application.

Console game Pc and Xbox

Engien :  Unreal Engine

Game:    TochiTochi (prototype)

The prototype is a 3d plat former for pc and xbox developed with a group of students from various department of the creative school of art and media structured to be a studio. Apart from evaluation, the prototype was developed with the aim of further publication and funding. The prototpe uses unreal technology.

  • Designed and developed the proposed game as a part of group.
  • Played an active part of programming  in development team
  • Effective contributed upon team’s ability to meet the challenges.
  • implementation of dynamic camera, movement of avatar, air control and checkpoint.
Graduate Research Prototype

Engine:  Unreal 3.0

Devlopment kit :  MOBA and UT

Paper :  Dynamic Game play mechanics

The research includes critically reviewing of all the hybrid games and techniques involved in a gameplay, similarity in the game techniques are critically reviewed and author attempts to take the best methods of all the techniques and create an effective prototype demonstrating the learning. Critical evaluation process was done on the prototype by the group composition of developer, designer, and end user.
